Summer Solstice Dinner with The Nomad Kitchen
Last night I had the honor of attending one of the Nomad Kitchen dinner parties. The night was set up as a curated dinner party where multiple women could come and network and support and encourage one another in a styled setting. I was invited to be a guest at the dinner and I contributed the gift of a custom made pair of earrings for each guest that attended. The theme of the dinner was Summer Solstice and the color pallete was peach, mustard, and pink and all guets were asked to dress in those shades. Mustard is one of my favorite colors and I had a lot of fun making a pair of earrings that worked within that colorway!
To start the night off, we began in the BloomMaven Boutique, where we were served a delicious summer cocktail. After cocktails and meeting new friends, we headed over to the outdoor space for dinner. We sat at a large farm style table decorated with gorgeous vintage glassware and plates and outrageous floral centerpieces. We each were assigned a seat with a custom name card and menu that showcased art from Tucson artist Emily Jovw. I was so impressed after seeing a bare space be completely transformed within a few hours. Liz and Akiko and the rest of the team did such an incredible job transforming this space into something so chic and comfortable! The lounge was set up and styled by Soulie owner of Love Studio Soul and had almost a Moroccan feel.
During the dinner we enjoyed cocktails at the DIY Gin and Tonic bar created by Christina for Hudson House, and had a decadents dinner created by by Stephanie for The Bazaar by José Andrés. Dinner featured Strawberry Gazpacho, Duck Meatballs, and Tenderloin with Roasted Potatoes. After dinner we headed back over to Bloommaven for some shopping at the evening market where we also enjoyed drinks and dessert. Everyone stayed for a while and shopped and hung out in the beautiful 67 degree weather, a huge change from the painful 109 degrees that Im used to back in Tucson. Thank you to all the ladies that made this happen and to the new freinds I made along the way!
